Commitment
Zeal Property Maintenance acknowledges that the provision
of a safe and healthy work environment for employees,
sub-contractors and visitors is not just a moral and
legal responsibility but also a prerequisite for it
to achieve its primary mission of conducting its work
to highest standards. This commitment to protecting
its human resources also extends to ensuring that
works carried out do not place the local community
at risk of injury, illness or property damage which
also extends to environmental factors and protection
and conservation or Flora and Fauna.
Objectives
Zeal Property Maintenance’s intention is to comply
with the NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act
(2000) and its associated regulations to ensure
the health safety and welfare of employees, sub-contractors
and visitors at its work places, providing and maintaining
safe workplaces, plant and systems of work by:
- providing information, instruction, training
and supervision to ensure safe systems of work
- ensuring that nominated safety personnel are
adequately trained and supported
- consulting and cooperating with safety and health
representatives, employees and others
- providing and maintaining personal protective
equipment as required
- continuously reviewing and improving its safety
performance
- providing methods to aid the rehabilitation
and return to work of its injured workforce paying
special attention to resolving the injury causing
issue with the affected person
